In my usually scouting about IMDb, I discovered something shocking and exciting: Bastian from The NeverEnding Story and Dickon "Superhot" Sowerby from The Secret Garden are the same person!!! The most exciting part of my day. Wow, that's really sad. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SURGERY, MARIE!!! I'M PRAYING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4.12.2003
I got a Livejournal. You can find it here I think I'm gonna still update my bloggie-poo, but probably less frequently. That is all. 4.10.2003
Sorry about my lack of updates, I was writing a really long one when my internet spazzed out and I was heartbroken and just went to bed. I think it's time for me to reveal my secret crush. Wait for it... TONY BLAIR!!! Ahhh.... I'm being entirely serious, so no comments about how I'm really funny and all that. 4.07.2003
Hehe. That's funny. I can never spell calendar. I always put "calandar" or "calander." What? It's a really hard word to spell. Okay, so it isn't. Anyways, today was so long, it was hard to believe that it was only one day. It was so boring. I have senioritis. And I am a junior. So, I have to wait more than a year before I can stop being a stupid high school student. I already have my Early Decision application filled out for Virginia Tech. And I can't even send it in yet. Blah. I'm dying. It's so hard to wait for something you want so bad. I don't think I've ever wanted something as bad as I want this right now. I'm going to cry. Now I have to go start reading my stupid AP World Test book preparing thingy. Eww. Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going crazy!!! Insane in the membrane!!! 4.06.2003
After school ended on Thursday, I drove straight to my dad's house, and we started immediately to Blacksburg, which is a four and a half hour drive. We left early so that we wouldn't have to sit in traffic so long. It was the most beautiful drive I've ever taken. Virginia is absolutely amazing. The hills, the tress, the farms, it's all so perfect, and I love it so much. When we arrived, we checked in at the hotel in Christiansburg and watched Survivor. They have CMT on their TVs!!! (For those of you who don't know what CMT is--Country Music Television.) That made me very happy. then I fell asleep while watching CSI and awoke at 6:30 in the morning. I got ready, took my shower with conditioning shampoo, which was really icky, but my fault for not bringing my own. I then blew it dry, and got dressed. Then we went down to the little seating area thingy where we had continental breakfast. I got to play with the fun little milk machine. Then we drove over to the campus, stopped at the Visitor's Center to get our parking permit, and then went and parked. Then we walked over to Burruss Hall, which is the home to Undergraduate Admissions. We walked around inside a little because we were really early for the little admissions talk that we were going to attend. There were a lot of other people there, which surprised me. There was a guy there from Michigan, and his whole family was with him. I thought it was pretty cool that they were considering sending him somewhere so far just for the Mechanical Engineering program. The whole talk from the admissions lady was really cool, and I learned a lot. Next we took a tour of the campus led by students. The campus is absolutely stunning. The buildings are beautiful, and all the trees were in bloom. It was...I don't know how to describe it. Everything about Tech is exactly what I want. The atmosphere is so conducive to what I want in a college. It's awesome. After the tour we ate at West End, the food was really good, especially since I expected ordinary cafeteria food. Then we took a look in the female dorms, which were all really impressive. Then we stopped by the bookstore where I got a new shirt, which is pretty cool. I also got a keychain with the attitude bird on it. Then we had to leave so that I would be home at a reasonable hour so I could get enough sleep for the SATs. Sats were okay. The math was harder than I expected, but verbal was easy. Hopefully I'll do well enough on them so I don't have to take them again. Aftr the test, Molly, Marie, and I went to Panera and got some lunch. It was genuine fun. then we went to Starbucks, then to Hollywood video to get Not Another Teen Movie, which was pretty dang bad. Oh, well, it was funny at some points. So today I went to church, then came home and read about collegs in the new book that I got last night at Barnes and Noble. And here I am procrastinating my Spanish project. Ahh...lazy Sunday afternoons. It's great. 4.02.2003
The world may never know. Today we had a breast cancer assembly. It was great. Except I missed Yearbook, which is kind of stupid because it is the only class I have where I hardly do anything. Soon I, too, will succumb to the irrisistible lure of Livejournal. I can't wait. 4.01.2003
I have Autodysomophobia. My number one fear is that when I go to college my roommate will smell like curry. I'm being dead serious. I hate the smell of curry. It makes me sick. Because what am I supposed to do, say "You smell like curry, I can't live with you."? Plus, bad smells in school scare me, because I don't want to breathe it, because it's dirty air. I'm sorry about this whole paragraph. It makes no sense. On an unrealated note, I saw Mike Glass in the hall 3 times today. Am I hallucinating, or did he follow Samie to Wootton? Comments by: YACCS |
