I have hated this show since I heard we were doing it. Hated it. The music is hard, boring, and long. The show isn't very funny, overdramatic, and annoying. I've waited for it to be over, complained about it to anyone who would listen, and even those who wouldn't. I would be lying if I said that I love it now and want it to last forever. But I feel a sort of fondness in my heart when I think about the hours I spent witht he people in the pit. Hours. If you like someone as a friend, see how you feel about them after six and a half hours in a dark, sticky, hot hole in a 30 year old auditorium with horrible acoustics. If you still like them after that, then you must have not been paying very close attention. Just kidding, I think everyone in pit, even Chris Barrick (gasp!), is cool. Yes, cool. I'm talking about that freshman who sits and reads in a corner in the commons at lunch. I think it's so cool that the pit puts up with so much shit, and does it year after year, just because the people are so damn...pitty. There is no other word for what they are. Ugh, I should delete this whole paragraph. It doesn't make any sense. I'll probably read it next year and wonder what the hell I was talking about. Some of you may have seen Zach Goldbaum play Gavroche in Les Miz. He is so cute, and funny. I'm like his secret fan, because I hear about him from Marie, and I think he's the greatest. He's a freshman, and he wrote a paper about Of Mce and Men and Flowers for Algernon. Here's a quote: "Algernon, too, has motivation. His motivation is the cheese. Algernon is able to accomplish tasks and excel with his new mental capacities because of his motivation." That makes me laugh so hard. I just realized that my last subject title was wrong. It's supposed to be "I can feel your heartbeat." I don't think I'm going to change it. I should really do my homework. Oh well. 3.26.2003
Four things are making me annoyed and one is making me happy. Happy: Knowing exactly where I want to be. Annoyed: 1. Having to stress about learning about the stupid freaking Opium War when I know I'm never going to use it when I'm getting my degree and being a housewife. 2. West Wing. Am I the only one who hates this show? It's so freaking liberal, it pisses me off to no end, and my Grandma is in love with it. Ugh, it's terrible. Plus the lighting is all weird, which also bothers me. 3. Hearing about how racist I am because I'm white. I have to be sensitive and not offend anybody when everyone can be racist and discriminate against me. 4. People calling everybody who's a farmer, or from West Virginia, a hick or a hillbilly. What the hell? Do these people know where they would be without farmers? Nowhere! They'd have nothing to eat. And West Virginia is absolutely beautiful, and they've probably never even been there. Ugh, stupid people. So I have 4 times more annoying things than happy things. That's bad. Ahh, the genius that is Marie. Haha. This day has been total crap. Wake up really tired, go to English and talk about nothing and be put in a group with 4 people who are not, um, the hardest workers/my friends/losers like me. They are popular people, whose names I will not burden you with. Then I went to Chem, where I am totally lost because I missed one day. ONE DAY. And I have no idea what is going on. Then I went to Spanish, where Cruzie was in a bad mood and made me and Kenny sit in a corner. It was both of our faults, but it was me drawing on Kenny that was the last straw. Oops. Now I have lunch, where I am supposed to be doing my math homework that's due 7th period, but instead I am siting here. Oh crap. 3.24.2003
I just wrote this whole long post and it got deleted when stupid AOL "encountered a problem." So for now, you will get 2 things. First- Nicky Grodsky + haircut = SO DAMN FINE Second- Ike is the hottest Hanson brother!!! Molly and Meredith can keep their Tay and Zac, I like Ike!!!

So today has been going so well, I'm scared it's going to stop. I woke up at 5 this morning to do this English assignment that I actually ended up enjoying and finishing in time. I got dressed, ate, and then went to school. English was actually not too bad today, and I finished up my Spanish assignment in time to turn it in in Spanish. Chem was a lab, so therefore I did nothing except dissolve salt in water. Really challenging. Then Spanish, in which we talked about this terrible short story we're reading. Then came lunch, when I went to the writing lab to get help from Tier-tier. Haha, that's funny, I'm gonna call her that from now on. Then I got to read everybody's blogs and ljs. And the rest of the day is shaping up to be pretty good, because all my homework is done. AND this afternoon pit is starting at 3:30, which makes me so happy. Yesterday was the worst. School was terrible. Then I had to frak out baout trying to get to pit on time, when we didn't even start until 3:45. Argh. That made me so mad because Big T actually asked them if we were starting at 2:30, and they said yes, and then we sat there forever and did nothing. Blah. Then I returned home to learn that I had gotten into Jib Ahoy. Not Moonspinners. Second year in a row. Must use. Sentence fragments. To express anger. Yesterday was a lot of fun. I went to the Diamond Square Giant to sell cookies with Mary and Sarah and D. It was so much fun. We saw so many weird people, it was amazing. Then I went to my Dad's house where I had spaghetti and meatballs, which was sooo good. Then we watched Barbershop, which was sooooooo incredibly good. Basically, any movie that is condemned by Jesse Jackson earns my approval. On a related note, I am starting to understand why Molly likes NRO. Then me and my dad and Annie talked for like an hour, which was nice. Then I looked at pictures of my dad as a 70s stereotype with muttonchops. I am still laughing. Then I went to Sonny and Don's house for a couple hours. Then I came home and went to bed. All in all, about the most active Saturday I've had in a long time. It was great. Off to church and then to lunch with the family. Then I have to come home and do my world paper. Blah, not looking forward to that one. 3.03.2003
Isn't that the coolest date ever? Marie says that the coolest date ever is 5.29.07 because that's when she turns 21. Marie is a loser without a password and she is trying to beg Mr. Swift to use his password. Today I woke up at 5 in the morning and I was like, good plan Heidi, don't do your homework and try to do it in an hour. I wanted to lay in bed and think about Elijah. But no. Marie is always wanting to use my password and then she bugs me to get off quickly and I'm all like WHATEVER!!! I am totally like high right now. High on life, not on drugs. Madison's in the writing lab and he keeps talking to me and Marie and we're like WHATEVER!!! I don't know what's wrong with me because I am just writing jibberish. I just wanted to post and had nothing to say. Argh. I have pit until 6 today and I really don't want to go because it will be the most boring thing ever. Oh well.
